Following our acquisition of Starweld Engineering in 2012, together we have developed a range of Steel Sash Weights to complement our existing range of Lead Sash Weights.
Heaps are pleased to announce the acquisition of Starweld Engineering Ltd. Starweld is a Sheffield based firm, specialising in fabrication and welding services and have been a trusted supplier to Heaps for over 20 years.
Following last year’s move into an additional factory, this space has become home to our new Collin automatic production line.
In order to meet guidelines for particulate and lead emissions from our manufacturing activities, we have invested £100,000 in a state of the art abatement system.
Following a vast increase in existing business, together with opportunities for new markets, Heaps have acquired new factory space.
Lead is one of the most environmentally friendly materials available, being infinitely recyclable, with no detriment to the material properties.
